On the way home!

well, we are at the airport in London, awaiting our flight out. It has been a great week, we have been in a very remote area. We had a few bags that got lost on the flight out. One of them was a tripod case; which held out tripod & monopod, and our microphone… we had everything needed to shoot video though. We had some wonderful trips into the area surrounding the new church hub at Choimim. We evangelized in the area close to Eldoret the last 2 days, and found that it was much more difficult there; but God did amazing things despite that. We’ll have more stories; but here’s a brief story. I met a young man named Alfayo last week one evening. He had heard that we were staying in |Choimim, and wanted to meet us. He and a friend came down on a bike, and I met him after we had gotten in, and everyone was winding down. Turns out he was a university student studying Environmental Sciences in Kisumu. I had read an article on Kenya’s new tarrif on plastic bag sales, and was able to talk about that… He was extremely well versed in conservation, and after talking for a while we talked about his spiritual walk. He went to a AIC (African Inland Church) regular; but had several questions that had kept him from commiting his life to Christ. We discussed these things, and after talking more, he decided he wanted to become a Christian. We prayed right in front of the new church, and it was really a great experience!Pray for Alfayo, that he will talk to his pastor, and let him know about his decision; and that God will give him a hunger for His word, and that he will be discipled. Praise be to God!!!
